If you have genuinely said this prayer, then today you have become a child of God. As a child of God, you are delivered (saved) from the power of darkness, and have been translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ . You are forgiven of sins and have passed from death unto life. Jesus Christ is your Lord, Alleluia!
As a child of God, you should spend time reading the Bible and in prayer, have fellowship with other Christians and do what God commands us to do.
