A New Song

I learned this song at UCCF and sang it in a trio in one of their meetings. Then one Sunday, while preparing for church, I sang it to myself over and over again. Little did I know that I would have sung this song as a solo in church that morning.

A New Song
He made the birds to sing and bells to ring
When I gave him my heart.
He turned gray skies to blue, the sun came shining through
When I gave him my heart.

So I’ll sing from a new heart.
And my voice I will raise.
I’ll sing him a new song.
I’ll sing him a new song.
I —– I! will sing him a song of Praise

He brought hope back to me and set my soul free
When I gave him my heart.
He gave words to a song, to sing all day long
When I gave him my heart

So I’ll sing from a new heart.
And my voice I will raise.
I’ll sing him a new song.
I’ll sing him a new song.
I —– I! will sing him a song of Praise

Chorus
And I will praise him, praise him,
For he is worthy of praise.
I will sing to him in worship all through the day.
I will praise him, praise him,
For he is worthy of praise.
Jesus, who is Lord of all, is worthy to be praised!
